One should face facts squarelly. Approx 15% of our population belong to the Muslim community. They are spreadout throughout our country, and as such, they are one with all of us i.e. Hindu's, Bhuddists , Sikhs, Christians, etc. We all are citizens of our country and frankly all should be given an equal chance in education and employment. But I have a caveat. Merit in education or employment should be the only critrea. This reservation policy now stinks. The creamy layer of this reservation policy do not want to give up this privilege. They have prospered with this policy and it is time they were kicked out. In my himble opinion, the only way out is to spread education from the primary stage, throughout India. The economically backward classess should be given incetives/educational help by their respective State governments so that they can live up to their potential. There is no shortage of bright students from the so called economically backward communities. Jay Prakash Narain had started a movement of 'Antyodya'i.e.helping the poorest of the poor in all respects, irrespective of caste and religion.Helping them will enable our country to reach great heights.
