Hindus should observe it as a black day
by Ganesh on Dec 07, 2006 12:09 AM

Dec 6 is not a shourya Divas: What is the big bravery in bringing down a dilapidated structure in which no Muslims had payed for about seventy years? Muslims had abandoned praying there much before independence. At the time of demolition the structure was clearly a Hindu Temple. There was already a Ram Statue in it and Hindus were praying there. So it should be observed as a Black day by Hindus and not by Muslims
Muslims have not lost anything (Except the sense of thinking). Why else would they cry over a structure that had been abandoned by them long before independence? From what I have read (Please pardon me and let me know if I am wrong), that structure would not have had the sanction of Islam to be a prayer place (if the strictures are strictly followed) even before its demolition itself as it had been abandoned. So why make such a noise about it?
