Stop giving excuses for vote bank politics!
by coolvyakti on Dec 06, 2006 11:37 AM

Dalit leadership has failed them over and over again - and since you claim to be their spokesman; you should feel responsible for it. They are simply being milked for their votes - and obviously since it is election time, they have to be "energized" by getting them to the dirty work of their political masters.
Who has taught them that burning buses and trains is the best way to protest -- it is leaders like you. Who ensures that even when they indulge in large scale destruction, they are not booked - their dirty polical masters.
Did Mr Ambedkar ever protest this way? What is the damn point of saying we rever him, when we don't even understand his teachings?
How come most dalits did not get emotional? but only a small percentage did so? Not one of them gainfully employed, with responsibilities, even take a day off.
How come politicians assured that "the situation would be normal after talks?" - does it not mean that they were coreographing this destruction?
Shame on you leaders who are doing a poor job of instigating violence and then explaining it off as emotional outburst. The least you can do is accept the responsibility of your flock gone astray.
