Serious stuff in seemingly humorous text. The points raised by the author are very relevant. Really, why higher education when there's no good primary education for the backward-class students. Good primary education should be an arena of major emphasis...students with strong foundation will be able to compete at the top level without the need for reservations, thereby, preventing yet another "division" of the country already plagued by communal strifes.
