Baliochistan After Bugti
by Samit Shrivastava on Aug 28, 2006 08:52 PM

I believe that death of Sardar Akbar Bugti will unite all Baloch nationalist forces that are fighting against the atrocities of Pakistani Army.

This incidence also reflects the dichotomy of Pakistan who on one side oppose India's move to control Kashmiri militants by force( for Pakistan, they are nationalists)and on the other side uses firepower and elite commandos to suppress nationalists on its own territory. It always accuses India that conflict is not the solution but it uses excessive forces. Should India do the same?

India should reinforce its ties with Baloch nationalists to give Pakistan a real feeling of revolt. They have been doing all this for years now it is India's turn to react. India should support Baloch movements morally, financially and militarily.
