I agree with what are saying, and one thing I am unable to understand, why is the public opinion not taken into consideration prior to taking decisions such as these? Does it mean that politics is just gambling, we having elected them and they can do whatever they like till they complete the five-year tenure? Why not a opinion poll comprising educated elites, industrialists, defense and police personnel are given a chance to give their mandate before taking such an important decision like this? I think people like you should start some forums and associations to voluntarily present your thoughts and build pressure on governments to prevent taking important decisions like these without taking people into confidence.
