I think due to recent terrorist attacks, its logical for any country to scrutinize people for their security purpose, but one should not be profile based on their races.
Also, the episode of north west plane that was turned back to amsterdam would'nt have arised had the passengers behaved normally onboard. They should have listened to the stewards instructions and it would have prevented inconvienience for themselves as well as other passengers.
