The song represents the devotion to the mother nation, praise,feelings of crores of lives,aspirations,faith and hope for a better future for each and every one including the nature and beauty of this great nation as forseen at that time.The freedom movement itself owes a lot to this great song. I cant think of the nation and the freedom without Vande Matharam.
