vande mataram and concept of god
by samit roy on Sep 03, 2006 01:35 AM

muslims in mumbai participate in ganesh arti. now as u all know ganesh puja is idol worship then why muslims participate in it? why there is no fatwa against muslims doing ganesh arti? is it public relation management by muslims to show brotherhood with hindus. anyway idol worship is no sin. muslims beleive that its sin to ascribe partner to god. anyway idols, images are nothing but creative artistic metaphoric expression to symbolise the divine absolute truth which is a metaphyscial in nature. muslims pray facing kabba of mecca. kabba is just a stone. muslims pray at grave yard. are these not idol worship. even allaha used partner to reveal koran to muhammad. angel gabriel was allaha's partner to reveal koran to muhammad. so whats wrong in singing vande mataram in praise of motherland.? nothing wrong in it.the problem is not with vande mataram but the problem lies in islamic fundamnetal concpet of god which is more fascist in nature than giving freedom of expression to realise that divine absolute truth or god.

there is no god but absolute truth (OM), lord krishna is the one and only messenger of that absolute truth (OM) and bhagavad gita is the world's only universal holy book
