vande mataram
by a.kumar on Aug 27, 2006 01:51 AM

please com out of this holier than thou attitude.i would request my muslim brothers to clarify the following things; 1.when they go to a mazar, don"t they bow their heads & offer chadars & flowers.is it unislamic. 2.going around the kaaba during Haj & deedar of Prophet"s hair in Hazaratbal shrine,do they not amount to idol worship. if this is islamic then singing of Vande Mataram cannot be unislamic. 3.music is forbidden in islam but some of the best known composers & singers have been devout muslims. the same hold true for the hindu's too who worship the mother goddess but kill her for dowry, indulge in female infanticide & foeticide. let the contractors of religions not interfere.i request my muslim brothers not to look at everything from religious angle and to the hindu's to not to dub all muslims as traitors.so, let us rise above our religious dogmas & say in unision VANDE MATARAM
