Why ''Saare jahan se achcha'' should be banned!?
by VijayN on Aug 24, 2006 03:40 PM

My dear Muslim fellow countryman, if Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay had left India for any other nation, every Indian would have opposed "Vande Mataram" tooth and nail.
Mohd. Iqbal's "Saare Jahan Se..." should be actually banned in India since Iqbal is credited with being one of the earliest proponents for a separate nation-state in the Muslim majority areas of the sub-continent. One of the first formal articulations of this demand was made in his presidential address to the annual conference of the All India Muslim League in 1930 in Allahabad. However, our large hearted (meaning coward) politicians kept on pushing this song through our generation to appease minorities!!!
Shame be upon those (SBUT) who do not want to sing "Vande Mataram..." with pride!
