It is pointless to argue over the song. It has always been a national song for many many decades. Just because a certain segment of the population refuses to sing the same, does not in anyway brings down its importance from our country's point of view starting from the early freedom movement days.
Yes, of course the singing of the same should be made compulsory in all public forums.
