Saluting the mother nation
by Anand on Aug 24, 2006 03:10 PM

I do not understand why there is an uproarious opposition to singing this song. To me, it means, saluting the mother-nation mentioning the glory of the greeneries, the fertility, flowery gardens and the endless blessings she has showered upon us. The moot question is - DO WE RESPECT OUR MOTHER? YES. Then nothing wrong to sing her glory and salute her. We regard mother who sacrifices her life and soul for her child. Being children of the nation, it should be our bounden duty to pay respect to her.
