i am an indian muslim living in britain. mind u people, i call myself still an indian, though i am far from my country. inside me there is a heart which can only love my mother land no matter where i am and i still care for my people, whether they r muslims or hindus they r mine and i dont have to sing a song to prove it. i take great pride in saying that india is a democracy, unlike our neighbours. and people have the freedom to practice what they like and nothing is imposed upon anybody and this great traditon should follow no matter what the leaders say in the media for getting publicity, they rake up issues which wont take us anywhere. what i request my fellow indians is that u should take up issues which bind us and which will help to bring communities together but not something that divides us. if u people think that only a song can stir up patriotic feelings then i think otherwise, the mere mentioning of the name of my country is enough for me. its from inside me and it wont change whehther i sing a song or not.
