RE:FIRST KNOW THE MEANING OF VANDE MATARAM
by Akhil on Aug 25, 2006 06:45 PM

@Asif, I fully agree with you. I am hindu Indian but I have full and whole hearted respect for Islam. As I follow and practice my religion, I have read books on Islam. Islam is not bad, but there are many leaders in the muslim community who are earning a bad name for their community. I dont see a single Muslim scollar or leader who has categorically rejected the demands of Shahi Imam and others of not sung the Vende Matram. People follow their religious leaders. I am wondering what will happen to the next generations if their peers are like this. This is a high time that big muslim religious scollars and leaders stands for their own country i.e. India. or this 5% will rise to a bigger number and people like you would less and lesser. At the same time Hindu and Muslim communities to respect each other religion, faith. No religion is small or bigger, bad or good, all are just different ways to reach HIM (ALLAH or RAM).

thanks,
Akhil
