I don't understand the problem
by Indian on Aug 25, 2006 03:19 PM

I don't understand what's the problem with singing Vande Matram. If the question was about "Jana Gana Mana" India's "National Anthem" the issue might have been clearer. I don't understand how any proud Indian sing that song. I feel ashamed even to hear it, and thats the main reason I don't ever attend Independence day or republic Day celebrations as we are supposed to "stand" to respect the song which praises british rule.

How creepy can these politicians get. They have never told us any truth - whether it be about chins's attack on india, Lal Bahadur Shahstri's death, Nehru's Death (who died cause of syphilis), Netaji's death, etc.

Its hight time National Anthem be reviewed.
