Is US behind conversions?
by labrea on Aug 23, 2006 08:24 PM

If those morons are so bent out of shape about 'conversions', then maybe they should do some serious introspection reagarding their own shortcomings - they could even start their own versions of 'madrassas' to bolster Hindu religious culture - like "fighting fire with fire"? It would also be beneficial if Hindu leaders, at every possible ocassion, were to speak out vehemently and forcefully against the despicable evils of caste, especially against the horrible age-old discrimination against the 'outcatses'. What's most urgently needed is reforming the system to rely less on "Pujaris" (priests) and more on "Pundits" (gurus, teachers, shepherds of their flock) to build an all-inclusive egalitarian, just and prosperous society. Until then, words alone would be like pouring water on a duck's back - runs right off. As they say, "action speaks louder than words".
