PM's indipendence day speech
by Elango on Aug 16, 2006 02:48 PM

As I know last 20 years (I am 35 now) every year all the PMs speaking the same thing at the time of every independence day. The message given should not be read out to ordinary Indian citizens, it must be addressed to the Politicians, not to the public. Politicians have the power, they want to see money from Governments' spending for the country or state thro' welfare schemes, infrastructure projects or whatever name it. They control police, government staff and everything. They divide the people, attracting media's and public attention thro' useless and bloody issues.
Since independence country's growth was handicapped by our own country men (Politicians). Before Independence there was only one LOOTER (British), after Independence SOMANY LOOTERS digging the Public money. If this situation persists India can not achieve "Developed Nation" status even after 100 years from now.
As a Patriotic citizen I expect all political leaders (atleast now) should shed their selfishness and change their attitude.
Finally '>90% of our present polticians don't have knowledge, no vision about the present and future, so they are not eligible to lead our mother country in the right path'
