Isn\'t PM dreams a lot?
by Savitha on Aug 15, 2006 08:23 PM

On this day full of optimism, PM has again delivered something he will never deliver. A India full of Indianness, without any differentiation on the basis of caste or religion can only be achieved if the government and parliament adopts steps in bridging this gap instead of increasing this divide in the name of social equality by increasing reservations. Historically reservation has not helped solved India misery, and it will not be helpful as long as it is based on caste. Poverty does not know any caste or religon, similarly the cure for poverty also has to be free of any bondings of caste or religon. Mr. PM please sell dreams which can be fulfilled. Few years ago, corruption was a big electoral issue, but these days it is not at all an electoral issue which does not mean that corruption has decreased in the country, but it has gone up to the level that no party has guts to take it head on. The people of this country are very emotional and they have paid heavy price for that for centuries. Speeches without any implementation are continuation of this exploitation. I sincerely wish that PM takes enough measures, without making only a show of it, to achieve what he has said today.
