The fact of the matter is, whether it is socialistic or capitalistic rule, we must ensure that rule of law holds good whatever may be circumstances. Unfortunately during the sixties we carried the socialistic era a bit too far. I am sure that mr. Krishna Iyer remembers the terrible kind of pro-worker rulings that SC gave back in the 60s, condoning even the most criminal acts under the garb of worker welfare. The capitalistic swing that, India is into, can be directly traced to those horrible days.
