RE: Unhealed Wounds, 13 years on
by Viraj Ashok Raje on Aug 11, 2006 02:01 PM

India is a Democratic Country! If you have money and power along with political support, you can survive murders of thousands of innocent people! But if you are a weakling, you are bound to get punished for even a unintentional crime! Such is the Judicial System prevailing in India! 13 years and still no stern action or judgement against the serial blast criminals! In fact, they should have been prosecuted immediately within three months of tim after the chargesheet was filed. But... India is a Democratic Country! Even if the Judicial System would have punished the blast criminals for death sentence, the Human Rights Activists would have come forward to protect them! Then, again an ongoing trial for years and years! Like the one going on right now. What are we heading to? Is this the way to be proud of being a Democratic Country? What example have set for the entire world? That, this is a country where one can do any brutal crime and yet can get back to his normal life? Shame to the Politicians! Shame to the Judicial System! Shame to the impotent media! And Shame on all of us... the impotent citizens of India!
