While the author is doing a good job of highlighting costs, let us also look at the loses from corruption scandals, such as Bofors, Volcker, Quatrochhi's get away, subverting the consitution in Goa and other places. Please let all these corrupted politicians go, once and for all and let our country be ruled by visionary, honest, able and reliable administrators -- wishful thinking indeed!
