President Kalam must study and take such action that does not earn him the reputation of Mr. Fakriddin Ali or Gyani Jail Singh, who acted not in the interest of country or society but only to save their 'gaddi' with infinite perks. Mr Kalam has already erred once by signing the bill on Bihar in the mid-night in a foreign land, knowingly to save the corrupt ministry of Lalu. This time it will be to save the corrupt MPs who want to enjoy the powers of executive without any answerabily. It is precisely to ward off such a situation the framers of the constitution drafted the office of profit bill, which is being sought to be annuled by this ammendment/ exemptions. If Mr. Kalam signs this bill, he eats his own words that the bill lacks clarity and transparency and hence is not fair and reasonable, for which reason he had returned it earlier. The whole process of propriety of law making is at stake. One law for Jaya Bacchan and another for Mr. Somnath Bannergy. Because it is upheld by a person like Kalam. Long live such a democracy.
