I congratulate you on writing such a wonderful article which sums up India's foreign policy (or the lack of it). Nehru's panchsheel policy has, a long time ago, been relegated to history texts but somehow we have never been able to prepare a sound long term vision and objective and lay the strategy to achieve it. If things work out, we dance, if it fails we blame.
China has been building bridges all across Central Asia and has even entered South America. Perfect example of the game of GO wherein the objective is to encircle your opponent - The West. China has a model for economic development and is busy implementing it across the globe. Do we have any ???
I think it is high time the country wakes up to the reality that in the near future there will be no comparison between India and China but between In-China and Out-China.
