unfortunate but true

I have heard the exact same story from another couple who immigrated to Canada for just the same reason.
Even though they were working professionals, they found themselves being racially discriminated against when looking for a house, and that too quite openly.

It reflects not just on a particular religion, but on human nature - to discriminate against against any community that threatens to alter your way of life.

Why is ot that at a micro level, we have good friends in every community, but at a macro level, we assume dynamics that are very different?
