Why I won't live among Hindus
by Shan on Apr 11, 2006 11:23 AM

Friend,

Guess somebody needs to break this barrier..

But I've seen personally that living next to a muslim family, that too for a vegetarian, is very difficult. Arey, we buy a house for comfort, peace etc., and being vegetarian, you love to live in a locality where you won't get the smell of meat cooking. Pls understand it's very difficult and annoying for any veggie to live in a locality, where you get the smell of meat boiling. Here it's not a question of religion, it's question of comfort.

Also, I've personally seen wherever the muslim population is more, you get to see these masks, and you also get to hear their announcements, in public with loud voice, which certainly we donot want to hear.

I feel the change should come from both ends and it should be win-win for all, otherwise the relationships won't last long.
