Re: why I won't live among Hindus
by Lalita on Apr 11, 2006 04:13 PM

With all respect to you sir I will advice you not to discriminate on the basis of religion. Because of some people you can not blame the whole nation. We all are Indians and I guess you have forgotten this fact. As you mentioned India is multi cultural and multi religious so are people. I must emphasise people are always different, be in Delhi, Mumbai, New York or London. We prefer to live with people of our own kinds. We develop ourselves in individual personalities since childhood the way we grow up. We feel comfortable to be with people of our own kinds. Let it be eating, language or life-style. Do not forget in all riots people from many religions get killed. In 9/11 not only non-muslims but muslims also got killed. We need to change the way we want everything for ourselves, try to think about the pleasures of giving and pleasures of tolerating, you will love your life anywhere on the planet. Try to make agenda of the issue that all the Indians must follow a common law and no personal laws for any community. We are responsible for each and every thing happening in India, we Indians. If you think you are an Indian respect the feelings of other Indians instead of critising them.
