Why China Propells?
by Jatin Patel on Apr 05, 2006 09:09 PM

Bad job by Mr. Saran. Also the gap between GOI representatives like Mr Saran and Indian-Americans, needs to be bridged in a much better way then the republic day and independence day cellebrations. Mr. Saran has no idea about what Indians can do about it and has no agenda either about what can be done to accomplish what Congressman Ackerman is asking for. Very bad communication indeed by GOI, if affordable electricity for rural poor and urban business needs is the objective.
Now if this were Chinese initiative; a streamlined machine would be working on behalf of chinese embassy here in US, which will be encouraging all Chinese Americans to write to their representatives with signatures of communities etc etc. The difference in success and failure of this deal is purely the followup on part of GOI, Indian Americans, and American businesses who are going to benefit from the sale proceeds. Does Mr. Saran have any clue what to do to bring all these things togather?
