Its only going to take some time. We should keep in mind that still only a handful of people in India who understand english, much less undersdtand it well enough to get to the essence of Rock songs. Plus we havn't got accustomed to the culture of violence, sex, drugs and alcohol, not to forget the 'angst' that these songs so successfully portray.
Possibly it is still simpler for people to go and listen to some slow ballads with which they can relate to and understand...and even these people form only a niche category, judging from the crowds and response to the concert...
