I share the concern expressed by the author. Its very disturbing to observe that slowly india has lost initiative and is playing a catch up game to pakistan's demands . From 2002 till 2004 india was dictating the terms as it was pakistan which was desperate to start the dialogue. After that slowley and steadily india dropped all its demand like 1. Not deal with a Dictator 2. Issue of POK. Its a mistake to trust the current establishment accorss the border. And now Pakistan has started dictating how and where we should deploy forces within our border. Disturbing thing is there has not been any response from indian goverment to this alleged interference in india's internal affair and our PM and FM has accepted a visit to Pakistan. My basic question is why current indian goverment allowing Pakistan to dicatate terms when we are in a position of strength in all areas ? Its a clear show of weakness in people's mind.
