Pakistani rulers want J&K in full. Period. This is their short term goal. The long term may be to recreate J&K adventure in other parts if they succeed here.

Numerous foreign policy mistakes are dragging us into deeper troubles in our handling of Pakistan. I still don't understand why we didn't go on the offensive on A.Q Khan's (Al Qaeda Khan) nuclear black market revelations. There was not a single public condemnation of it from any Indian leaders. What, are we trying not to offend them here? If we don't condemn their wrong doing in public, it is only going to embolden them as it has done on many other cases.
While we fully sympathize with Pakistani people, there is no forgiving what their rulers have done and continue to do in the subcontinent over half the century.
Indian leaders, seize the moment and lead us to a better future.
