Managing media as it is being claimed of Pakistan is a disease not a cure and need not be confused with a marketing exercise. Marketing begins with the need of the people and sets up organisational capability to deliver the needed products. It is an exercise in delivering the 'apples' and not mere 'apple polishing'.
Success of Indian media lies in making our recalcitrant neighbour, Pakistan see the light of reason, trust India and work together to usher prosperity. Putting extra efforts to deliver media bytes to the western world is of no good as Pakistan to its horror must have found quite counter productive. All we need is an open and welcoming society and Western media has the money to do research and discern truth for themselves.
