What a dim - witted , pointless article. The entire article could have been reduced to 2 lines.
Firt Line : The maulvi is correct from his perspective as he sees the world from his well and cannot see the bigger picture of the world. Thats his problem.
Second Line : Sania is making a choice of profession (and India's glory - I may add) over that of following her religion to the strictest doctrine.
The author has written a long complicated boring article to explain the above points, and rather unfortunately he has (intentionally / unintentionally) proved that if Sania really is devout , she can make that choice to sacrifice her carreer for her religion (as the Iranian women did so - gracefully as per the author). Sir, you have done nothing worthwhile for the country - so pls dont try to stop an Indian prospect from doing well. The controversy is dead - dont rekindle it. Maybe your intentions are not bad , but your results are awful.
