Does US think that it itself is a model state!? Huh, that would be a joke. It clearly shows US via CIA allowed AQ Khan to continue nuclear proliferation/gather illegal resources even though it knew what was going on. This is just another face of the double standards that US has always displayed. US better clean up its own acts first and acknowledge them, before pointing a finger at others.
