India and not model state?
by Jai on Sep 08, 2005 11:17 PM

Albright wants to play it safe... pressure from diplomatic / external ministry quarters... The comments doesn't make any sense.
USA does not want to acknowledge India as a nuclear power. Complains that civilian and nuclear facilities transfer technology when India is yet to declare / differentiate which are those facilities. Names one private company for proliferation, still states nothing serious, doesnot understand that India's facilities are completely under goverment control.
If India is not, who is a model state. USA? India must come out with its report.
We have a break in the Thorium reactor front. Shunt the outsiders and go ahead as we had done in the past. We are self reliant.. comfortably.
Dont take Albright serious... the whole affair is just a smoke screen...
And we are not afraid of the smoke.........
