It is real absurd to compare a democratic & responsible state like India with rogue countries like pakistan, syria, iran & n.korea.
India's need for nuclear weapons is legitimate considering its 2 rogue neighbors (china & pakistan), both of whom are already nuclear-armed & always conniving against india.
India can be compared to USA of the cold-war decade, which had a need for nuclear weapons, but was nevertheless a responsible state.
Secondly, if you look at India's history dating thousands of years ago (when america was yet to be discovered & europeans were yet to be civilized), you will find that, not even a single-once, has India attacked some other country for land and/or wealth. Thus, peace & love runs in our blood.
I feel that the Bush admin has taken the right steps (albeit late) coz there are certain times, when you have to ignore what others say & take certain harsh steps for the common good. This is one of those times.
Thumbs up to the bush admin & god bless the growing relationship between USA & India.
