i think the writer hasnt gone around chennai much .. what was reported were definitely true instances (except scene 5).. but its not true in all engg colleges and it does not mean everyone are dancing in bharat natyam in chennai ... it is like saying all school children in Delhi have sex after hearing about DPS MMS ..Scene 5 was super imagination of the writer and good example that it was written to malign image of chennai ... In some places the Police exceed their limits and this enters colums of newspapers ... I also accept no one has the right to do moral policing but this column was too much. May be the columnist was cought wrong footed in Chennai.
Moral of the story: Chennai is conservative but not as much made out by the author.
