Dear Author, Thats because of this Big Brother, chennai is not a mumbai or Delhi.
Because of this Big Brother, women are not raped in public. After all in Delhi and Mumbai things are so common that people are not able to distinguish between a relationship and a rape. They have to wait till the next day for the daily or the T.V to confirm its really a rape.
I am not a 60's or 70's guy, but at the same time i believe in respect for the society and its members. Ofcourse NOT as defined by ShivSena or PMK or Dalit Panthers.
Not doing all that you have mentioned above(except the college incident and your imaginary one at the last) is one way of showing respect to fellow citizens.
