I don't know why the columnist thinks that these things are applicable only in chennai, I wish these are code of conduct applicable all over india, may be a bit liberal in other places.. yes we have our own traditions.....one should go for better examples, Japan-a country in the frontier of every sphere of technology...don't they follow their tradition. Its mad to not allow people to talk to opposite sex. But its fair to regulate the dressing. I've seen enough of these navel reveling dresses. If u want to show something let it be private, or announce that u r now public.. and then dress so, like nobody raises questions to actresses unless she is very popular..the days of the week concept is a blah blah blah from the columnist. again i don't see any place india where people would allow anybody to kiss in a public place, probably they may not stop u, but they will not appreciate that for sure, including the big brothers of other places in india, but they are very stern in chennai as they usually are,go back and see the history of this city, u can know more.a girl can wear anything that doesnt expose here, nobody has the right to stop, but they have to be checked when it exceeds limit.
