Hey Arvind, even as a non-Chennaite I can very well understand your point that generalising a city in itself is bad.
But are you8 not doing the same thing when you say "Chennai is not as corrupted as other metros....".
It depends on the people of the city how to react to certain issues and how they cope up with changing time. Has the general public of Chennai really come out protesting the people who has physically/ mentally abused actor Khushboo or any such instances mentioned the article? I can tell from my own experience that a lot many people in my apartment has strongly objected to my cooking non-veg, smoking or having a few drinks quitely (I promise, no party, no gals, no hulla-gulla at all)... And the same I have heard from few other non-Chennai colleagues too. But at the same time I find the TASMAC shops in the city are always full... It's strange! Anyway, no hard feelings.
