Good in parts; bad on the whole
by Ganesh Sathyanathan on Oct 03, 2005 09:29 PM

I agree with the events the author has potrayed, but except a couple - others are remote events. The author has done her best to create a bad impression on the city. I should appreciate her imagination (Scene 5) - three cheers!!!

Shobha - please keep in mind that is a public domain and though I can agree with the concept of "free press" I am dissapointed with the way you have come up with the article. What happened to your logic? You have quoted "In an interview, the actress had advised people of the city to have safe sex." - Are you sure that it is this the actress quoted? Please write with logic - Are the chennai public out of their mind to protest against a person who advises on safe sex? Do you know what the actress said? How can you write anything you feel like? Do you think we are fool to read anything that you write without logic?

My humble advice to you is please avoid blowing the trumpet with remote incidents and damage the reputation of Chennai city. It sad that people like you are irresponsible and its equally sad that Rediff has published the article without a proper check. Please do not misuse the concept of "free press" which otherwise can be put to good use.
