Hello Iam Abhishek. Iam not from Chennai. Iam from Trivandrum. I read the entire column. It's just absolute nonsense. Well it can be understood if it is said that a boy and a girl should not hold hands or kiss in public. But it makes absolutely no sense if the same is applied for a husband and wife especially in a hotel or any such place. Of course I respect Indian culture. But I would be glad if you can bring to me any evidence which prohibits such things especially between a husband and wife. Nowadays people have even begun looking at the concept of boyfriend-girlfriend as acceptable. As long as the relation is confined to just a true friendship and love, everyone seems to accept it. Even I believe in a relationship that is bound by true love and friendship. These are moral values and you guys and the so called Big Brother has to accept it. You cannot still live in the 15th century when we are approaching the 21st century. What I have to say is that everyone should accept nice relationships. A marriage especially is one of the best relationships. Our culture asserts that fact more than others. So stop intererfering in the life of couples or people who truly like each other.
