As a citizen of India and being a Keralite, let me take this opportunity to express my deepest condolence and sympathy to the bereaved family in their hour of crisis.
I strongly feel that Indian Govt. response to the deadline given by the Taliban was a very casual approach and not taken seriously. If the Govt. would have acted quickly then there was a chance of getting the deadline extended and negotiation continued. There is no point condemning and telling the world that we are against terrorism. Govt. must act quickly to save the innocent lives who are working various parts of the world to earn their livelihood.
Why there is different approach for different people and if we are sticking to one point we should follow without any deviation. Why I am making this point is because when Mr. Mufti Mohammed Sayeed's daughter was kidnapped, his daughter was released after negotiation and freeing the militants without any harm. We should have a common policy for all citizen of India without any reservation and there should not be any considerations.
