partisan politics
by Indian_analyst on Nov 18, 2005 12:31 AM

People like Bal Thackeray will always be popular and have some following. This is because people like him appeal and exploit the basic insecurity of normal people. Event Hitler was a popular leader.

He first tried to kick out Gujjus, then south Indians from Bombay and made a career out of hating muslims.

These are Indians we are talking about.

We don't need his partisan politics. I am glad that he does not enjoy mainstream support even amongst the Hindus.
