Just to bring him under our law,there was no need to give an undertaking to portugal by our Government. However once the undertaking is given to another state, our government has to stick to the undertaking or else we loose the global trust. Further there is nothing wrong to award other punishments to both of them less the capital punishment like it has been done in the past to similar criminals in our country.
