There is no wonder that unsolicited attempts are being made to "defend" Natwar Singh through the media. Natwar has claimed before the media that he is answerable only to his "conscience" (does such a thing exist for a politician, that too a Congress Politician, is yet another point - not debatable point, it is a settled axiomatic truth that such a thing does not exist in this tribe); if so why his anxiety to make a statement to the media and to the Parliament whose precious moments are wasted on such meaningless exercises?
