Quran abuse
by Seenu Subbu on May 20, 2005 05:33 PM

Personally, I don't think Allah is my saviour and hence Quran cannot be of any reverence to me. But then I wouldn't think of being insensitive enough to hurt a believer's feelings.
That being said, Quran is revered by Muslims, and for a "pagan", a "Kaffir" or a Christian, Quran means nothing and how can you expect them to "respect" it?
There's a saying in Kannada to the effect that when an Elephant passes by a dog and the dog barks, the Elephant cannot cry of insult or afford to bark back at the dog. The fifteen people killed were all Afghan Muslims who probably think they became "martyrs". Yuck.
