If you are powerful and economically strong ... then what is UN? US has been doing that and now its more like a ruling of US... and the UNSC are not given to World's second economic powerhouse ... Japan and to world's second most populated country ....India ... and above all there is a stiff resistance from US on this. US is acting as a Big Brother ... so why respect it .... If India sees some serious benifits then ye they should try else withdraw from it or better make a pact with Japan and withdraw together.
