I agree with the columnist Mr. Bidwai's above statement. India needs a viable conservative party dedicated to cautious ideologies to balance dissipative economic ideologies. Just like Dravidian parties have matured to national politcs by giving up anti-Hindi platform, BJP like groups also should give up divisive politics and communal platform to make a new set-up with conservative economic policies.
