Thanks Tarun for putting some light on the issue. The extrimist isses mentioned in the article is not only the problem Manipur alone, but entire NE Region, and government is responsible for them in some way or the other. Two main reason for growing extrimism in the region are continuous reluctence by central government and improper leadership in the region. Leaders in the region should be more focused in overall development instead of being concentrating on the growth of their individual parties. Apart from government, media also, I think have a great role to play as they can help people to think and grow consciousness among people and especially youths in the region. We need more articles as the one by Tarun, that might help government to have look at the plight of NE people. NE need some unbiased journalists who can write for wellbeing of its people.
